[Urgent!] LCD black screen with Dell Studio 1537 and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450

When I turn on the laptop the screen remains black and the only way to view it is by connecting with the VGA interface to an external monitor, also I add that I can start the operating system only by adding as a parameter to the kernel:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="radeon.modeset=0"

I have upgraded to:

linux-firmware 1.183.5 all Firmware for Linux kernel drivers

but the problem persists
