linux-kernel-headers 2.6.17-0ubuntu1 source package in Ubuntu

Changelog

linux-kernel-headers (2.6.17-0ubuntu1) edgy; urgency=low

The "Sun is shiny.. shining.. My eyes hurt.." release.

  * New upstream release. Switch to using David Woodhouse's
implementation. This is now the same headers used in Gentoo,
Fedora, and are provided by the upstream kernel natively
    as of 2.6.18.

  * Switch to multiarch paths, drop generate-asm wrapper.

  * Do not include generated files asm-offset files for ia64 and hppa.

  * Bump to debhelper compat version 5.

  * Drop all patches. Problems that still exist are either problems
in the applications that need fixing, or last tweaks to the upstream
headers. But either way, this patch list needs to get to zero
very quickly, and this is the fastest way to solving the pain.

  * Powerpc now uses the kernelname 'powerpc' for the unified
architecture. Provide a symlink from powerpc64 to powerpc.
