It's been determined that it's a motherboard issue with the gpu. I
noticed the same problem when I tried playing frozen bubble with the nv
driver enabled and the blue lines reappeared. Having seen that happen,
I decided that it's hardware issue rather than a software one, because I
would get the same lines using a different monitor. So right now, my
dv8000 is at HP getting fixed, I hope!!
