I'm part way through the install process of x86-64 of 5.10 on a Pentium 4 system (nothing special about it, ABIT IL8 board). I've just finished the part where the CD is required, so it told me to eject it, and I've rebooted. It's hanging up on "Starting hotplug subsystem...". How can I install a new kernel when I haven't even gotten through the install process?
