I don't understand it exactly - it is a native Linux driver but I don't think it's complete. Walkthroughs say you have to use another programme to 'cut' the relevent windows files and then combine them.

It has managed to break ndiswrapper on every single Dapper install I've done, on a variety of machines, so I think it's a huge bug. Not really knowing enough about what bcm4xxx does though I've never felt knowledgeable enough to bugreport it.

By all means file a report (or confirm an existing one) though if it broke ndiswrapper for you - with only 3 weeks to go there's not much time left :)
