Am running latest Feisty beta with linux kernel 2.6.20-13

It appears a number of users have been affected by similar behaviour; it might be worth turning this into a 'Wishlist' item if this is not already present?

Should normal end users really have to do these thnigs? Surely something we could have better default behaviour for in Ubuntu...?
