You should be able to add this option permanently to your grub configuration by adding it to the section that starts with "## ## Start Default Options ##" with something like 'kopt=acpi=noirq". This will ensure that the option is added to every kernel. Could you please provide the full output of 'sudo dmidecode' to your bug report? Thanks in advance.
