Here's some packages given by the Ultimate Ed. Forum. Using Synaptic install these. Note, a lot of these are already installed for video apps. Just use the search function. You may not find "uvcdynctrl" , but my Skype works great although I couldn't find it. Install all the ones with green check marks. I use Logitech Quick Cam. Hope this helps. Only thing I found that works. Also worked for Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger.
