Comment 9 for bug 76788

Is there a way to tell when this is actually available? That is, either to anticipate in what package version of the kernel it'll be present, or to follow it somehow?

I'd like to know when I can try if it works, and I have no idea how long it takes between the fix being merged upstream and apt-get installing it.
