I get the same problem with Ubuntu 8.04 RC !
With the Alpha4, no problem.
It is very embarrassing for me, because it is an RC and I don't know if it will change !
The CD run correctly on other PCs, but on mine, when I arrive at the Gnome desktop, it crashes, and I see the login screen and over again...

Thanks to resolve this problem, otherwise, Ubuntu must leave my PC :(
