Firmware for prism 2.5 cards can be found here: http://linux.junsun.net/intersil-prism/ . However it is unclear what the best firmware to use is (people report problem with 1.8.4).

The ATI "screen is not returning after X suspend" really should be spun off into a bug of its own otherwise this bug risks being closed due to being about more than one issue...
