Care to confirm this is still an issue with the latest Alpha for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 which has a 2.6.26 based kernel. More information regarding the latest Alpha for Intrepid can be found at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing. Please let us know your results.

Also, this report will remain open against the actively developed kernel bug against 2.6.22 this does not qualify for a Stable Release Update and will be closed - http://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates . Thanks.
