I still appear to be having this problem;

$ dmraid -V
dmraid version: 1.0.0.rc14 (2006.11.08) shared
dmraid library version: 1.0.0.rc14 (2006.11.08)

$ uname -r
2.6.27-7-generic

$ dmraid -a y
ERROR: device-mapper target type "raid45" not in kernel

I am VERY new to linux but I'm pretty sure this is the same issue and I have not missed something/done something wrong. Forgive me if I have. Thanks!
