I can confirm that this problem still exists on fully updated Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04.

My kernel is
Linux gizmo 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

I can also confirm that hitting ENTER on the console on the secondary screen shifts the primary screen from right to left.
