here is the output of
sudo update-initramfs -u -k 5.3.0-23-generic

update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-5.3.0-23-generic
I: The initramfs will attempt to resume from /dev/dm-2
I: (/dev/mapper/vgubuntu-swap_1)
I: Set the RESUME variable to override this.

(for 24 it's the same)

also 5.3.0-24 from eoan-proposed doesn't work either
