Hi,

The patch that corresponds to:

      media: uvcvideo: Set unique vdev name based in type

breaks many multimedia programs that rely on a name of video camera. For this reason, this patch was reverted by kernel maintainers on Tue, 7 Dec 2021. See https://lkml.org/lkml/2021/12/6/2086

Could you please also revert this patch as soon as possible? Because of this regression, in some GUI teleconferencing software user can not switch to correct camera when two or more cameras are connected to the computer.
