Thank you for your response, I noticed that (as far as I can see) neither log file actually show your sound card listed, let alone initialized... What kind of sound card do you have? If it's integrated with your motherboard please indicate what motherboard you have also.

Just out of curiosity, you have been able to verify that the sound card is functional right?
