i typed : aplay -l

and i get that:

card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC861VD Analog [ALC861VD Analog]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

and another card.

--> but unfortunately i don t know if my sound card is integrated with the motherboard - by the way my computer is a laptop -

the sound card is functional : because i was reading one of the helps article and someone says that if i type aplay -l and have seen a card list so the card in there is functional
