Hi Endolith,

You are right, it is a bug for sure, and changing the channel will help ...
I still had some problems after that maybe once or twice a day, now
EVERYTHING is solved.

Here is what I did:

I upgraded to a new Kernel: 2.6.30.5

you can find this kernel here, just download and double click the file:

http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/

I use WEP now, didnt try going back to WPA ...

I never had problems anymore ...

Give it a try ...
ps. I did not upgrade to 2.6.31 because that kernel does not work for my
build in webcam.
