  * Merge from Debian unstable.  Remaining changes:
    - Allow build-tests autopkgtest to write to stderr, since it does so
      copiously even on success.
    - debian/patches/170-fix-socket-thread-not-starting.patch: Patch from
      Peter Soertens to fix an issue with the socket reconnection thread not
      starting.
    - Pass dh_makeshlibs -V to have stronger version dependencies.

  * d/tests: Use AUTOPKGTEST_TMP instead of ADTTMP

  * Use debhelper-compat instead of d/compat; bump compat to level 13.
    - put the static library into debian/non-installed.
  * Bump S-V to 4.5.0, no changes.
  * Remove -Wl,--as-needed from d/rules, it is default now in the toolchain.
