Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. lsr has been replaced by Orca screen-reader in later releases. I am closing this bug report since Orca does work. I suggest upgrading to Ubuntu 10.04, an LTS version to replace Hardy Heron, Ubuntu 8.04.
