Well, the driver isn't in the base Ubuntu kernel, and we use that, so as soon as this driver's supported in the base Ubuntu kernel, then we'll pick it up. In the meantime, if you compiled the kernel "the ubuntu way" and actually created a dpkg for it, I see no reason why you can't do an install of the custom kernel dpkg in the chroot, and an ltsp-update-kernels.
