I don't know how to update this bug, however....it's still with us!!!

I have Kubuntu 8.10, fresh installed, updated, kde 4.1....and it happende exactly the same thing, after some popups about the accessibility keys, my keyboard stopped to work.

I solved going into Control panel > Accessibility and by setting back all the default options. Then, before save, in the tab "Activating Gestures" tou have to unckeck the option "Use gestures to activate the sticky keys".

I think this is really a bad bug:
- normal users don't know what it happened, and I hope for them they have another operative system on the machine.
- imagine this in an enterprise....with people who have to work...total panic
- I have asked for this on two forums (one is ubuntuforums) and nobody helped me. Luckily i googled and searched this "old" bug....
In conclusion, three days without my operative system, luckily I have windows ready.
Fix it!
