Somewhat more specifically, the reason we're asking is that nautilus location widgets will be required for nautilus integration for one of our offerings, and we are using python to implement the nautilus extension. We would like to be able to support intrepid, which is only possible if intrepid's python-nautilus supports providing location widgets.
