Should I have written "File Browser" instead of "Nautilus"?

Reason for putting my request in this thread is because I think the request is linked to the "File Browser in Ubuntu 7.04 is showing unmounted partitions bug" described by Radha.

In your earlier comment you've indicated: "The computer location list everything so you can mount drives by clicking on them, that's not a bug"

In my request I'm not talking about a bug. I'm asking about the possibility of adding a "feature" to the File Browser such that the user can choose to hide (or not to hide) unmounted partitions in the "Places" pane.

In the case it would possible to add this feature to the File Browser I would even argue that the "default" setting of File Browser should be "unmounted partitions not visible" as I tried to explain in my comment on http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3210306
