However, I already did that. I only allowed the upgrade to the libglib packages, though - but no dependencies showed...
Anyway, my synaptic reports that the package was upgraded, and the problem persists.
Perhaps the fix does not work on fat32?
Maybe I have to upgrade everything? I'll try that, since HDave did that & reports a fix with "very little" side effect.
