Comment 16 for bug 35565

If I left-click and "move to trash" any file in my file system it does not appear in the trash. It does however appear in home/myname/.trash if I use the command line interface. It started happening when I upgraded from Breezy to Dapper and has not stopped. I am patched current as of 5-27-06. I notice this in the Gnome desktop. The only difference I can think of b/t this machine and the laptop I have where this works properly is that I used "easy ubuntu" to add some non-free stuff like flash, video card divers, java, video codecs, etc. That's about the only differences I can think of. Would be glad to answer any other questions you have.
