What do you mean by "local"? Anyway, I have two disks and 5 partitions:

/dev/hda3 on / type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/hda5 on /old-ubuntu type reiserfs (rw)
/dev/hda6 on /dat type ext3 (rw)
/dev/hda1 on /win1 type vfat (rw,umask=002)
/dev/hdc5 on /win2 type vfat (rw,umask=002)
/dev/hdc1 on /backup type ext3 (rw)

The problem only happens for the root partition (hda3). hda5, hda6, and hdc* are ok.
