thanks for following up. The crash was due to a symbolic link within the
mounted partition. i.e. /media/WinXP-1/WinXP-1 -> /media/WinXP-1
When opening the partition in question, nautilus would crash. Upon
deleting the symbolic link, I could open the partition without problem.
Do you want me to recreate the problem and install Valgrind?
