So I don't seem to be able to reproduce this any more. I did recently boot windows on my laptop, and then ran updates. I no longer seem to be able to reproduce this issue.

One of the important updates was an update to the IMEI firmware on my machine. Can someone else on this bug please upgrade your IMEI firmware *(which likely needs to be performed via windows), and then attempt to reproduce this bug. I'd like confirmation that the IMEI firmware update did indeed resolve this issue.
