Comment 38 for bug 162654

I have the same problem with iwl3945, but worse as it hangs altogether on resume.

I did not notice it earlier because I do not often user wireless, and have the kill switch on (in which case there is no problem).

Unloading on suspend appears to fix this, but I have not yet tested it while actually connected to a network so I do not know if that would still cause a problem.
