At least I dont have ipw2200 but ipw2100. The other thing is: the reconnects dont happen when I dont use network-manager, e.g. with wifi-radar oder direct use of wpa-supplicant, no problems. So the driver may be involved in triggering the problem but probably isnt the only cause of it.

I have had the above patch running flawlessly for about two days now and I will likely submit the fix tonight right here.
