Yesterday evening - I updated with Synaptic -> did a little work -> reboot -> boing
> How frequently do the freezes occur?
VERY frequently instantly after booting and session login

Yesterday only - 5 Times
> List the applications you typically have open at the time of the freeze.
Nearly none - it took me 20 Minutes of rebooting to get firefox to work
(But pulse audio works as sound server - this would be my hint)
