Yes, sorry, "???udev will be removed in the next version" is the part of the messages I could catch. There are several numbers in front of udev, and the wording may be slightly different and longer.

This does not look like the same thing as bug 535108, since I am not seeing anything except the text messages before the Xubuntu splash screen kicks in.

I have searched the log files, and can not find the messages recorded anywhere. Is there a way to force it to log them, so I can capture the exact message?
