recode 3.6-25 source package in Ubuntu

Changelog

recode (3.6-25) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Call makeinfo using --output option. This allows the package to be
    built with Texinfo 7. Thanks to Hilmar Preusse. Closes: #1030373.
  * Drop 99-config-guess-config-sub.patch, as debhelper already cares.
  * Raise debhelper compat level to 10. Above that level there is
    a little incompatibility with current configure script that
    will be solved in recode 3.7.x.
  * Remove priority field for all binary packages in debian/control,
    as all of them are optional and this is already in the source.
  * Remove debian/watch. We are switching upstream after bookworm.
  * Update URL in copyright file.
  * Standards-Version: 4.6.2.
  * Rules-Requires-Root: no.
  * Run wrap-and-sort.

Binary packages built by this source

librecode-dev: Development package for librecode0

 This package contains the header files and static librecode.a
 library needed to build applications based on librecode.

librecode0: Shared library on which recode is based

 This recoding library converts files between various coded character
 sets and surface encodings. The library recognizes or produces more
 than 300 different character sets and is able to convert files between
 almost any pair. Most RFC 1345 character sets, and all `libiconv'
 character sets, are supported.

recode: Character set conversion utility

 Free `recode' converts files between character sets and usages. When
 exact transliterations are not possible, it may get rid of the
 offending characters or fall back on approximations. This program
 recognizes or produces nearly 300 different character sets and is able
 to transliterate files between almost any pair. Most RFC 1345
 character sets, and all `libiconv' character sets, are supported.
