It might be good to update the bug title and body to indicate this is really a bug in streams_xattr.
With the added detail that it breaks all client OSes doing simple file operations when streams_xattr is enabled, but additionally will break both macOS clients and Windows clients manipulating xattribs or ADSes. As people running those client OSes are most likely...perhaps the only people...to have shares configured as in test case 1 & 2. Thus, changing the bug title and body will help clarify the primary issue, while also letting macOS and Windows users know this is a bug and patch that is relevant to their use cases.
