Nope. I tried 22.04, installing Samba with the patches from your PPA, and while I can connect to the server, as soon as I try to access a share mount point, Finder on my Mac crashes.
I don't see anything terribly useful in either logs on my Mac or /var/log/samba. I'll attach a zip if you want to peruse, but there's zero useful info.
