I forgot to say that I made a feature spec for this and linked it to the forum entry that I talked about this. It is here:

I hope that I am using launchpad incorrectly. I am new to this system and the beta stage starts tomorrow.

If it is impossible to get this into feisty, could someone mark this bug as wontfix and mark the feature spec for concideration for the next version of ubuntu.
