I have the same problem on Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 (Linux) - no filters. Thunderbird
2.0 always freezes after retrieving all mails for an account. It is *extremely*
annoying. Theme: Azerty 3.0.1

When using default 2.0 theme problem disappears.
