rdesktop does support clipboard feature. Try 'rdesktop' in a terminal and you'll see that option ('-r clipboard:[off|PRIMARYCLIPBOARD|CLIPBOARD]').

tsclient doesn't have a frontend for the clipboard option, so, this bug must be confirmed in tsclient.
