This bug is not fixed. I have had it today (Hardy-alternate downloaded yesterday).
On a Toshiba Satellite 1100.
I join the /var/log/syslog file I could get.
I hope it can help.
When I had reformatted the partitions. I had no more this bug (but another later!)
