All my pc's are multi-boot with multiple partitions and a couple have two hard drives, let alone the USB hard drive. That one has 3 or more partitions on 3 hard drives which s a real pain with Natty.

Natty's partitioner is like looking through a gun slit and since the partitions are not shown in numerical order it's very confusing at the least.

My best bet is to fire up gparted beforehand where I can at least view a few partitions, one drive at a time, then carefully copy down the particulars on my intended targetm then very very carefully read the Natty partitioner to make sure it really matches what Gparted showed.

Now the real killer is my netbook Acer Aspire one. Runs Natty Unity 3D with all its features and warts just fine. Good quick pc for Natty.

I can't install Natty on the netbook because the partitioner panel has a big black banner at the top, followed by partitioner info, and then the crucial selection of which of the three hard drives grub is to be installed to trailing way down the window. With a 1024x600 all the grub info falls off the bottom of the partitioner window.

Partitioner window won't scroll.

Partitioner window won't page up.

Absolutely no way to access the button way down at the bottom of the window to see and accept the grub location.

Had no such problem installing Maverick on the netbook.

Now I had 2 choices - one was to take the USB hard drive over to a desktop with a 1440x900 screen which was big enough.

My other choice I haven't tried yet is to put an external monitor on the Aspire.

If Ubiquity will not ever have the ability to scroll or page the window up and down, then at least get rid of the big black banner using up several lines, and better yet break the window into a partitioner window and then follow with another window with the grub info on it.

Now I haven't created a launchpad bug on this yet.
