Just before crash (on istaller log):
"Error opening file for reading: Permission denied"
After crash:
"The installer encountered an unrecoverable error. (Somethong like this)) You will now enter a live session to investigate the problem. (Drops into live session).

These should not be taken as direct quotes, as I only quicky wrote these messages down.
