It seems the real problem is not ubufox, but java JRE 6 will not run on ubuntu 7.10. So the Firefox browser uses GNU Classpath imbedded in ubuntu to run Java code. The GNU Classpath tries to emulate MS Vista with a pop up window that asks you if you want to add the address for the code to a "whitelist". Then it runs the code after up to a minute of waiting. So it seems we need a new JRE that is compatible with Ubuntu 7.10.

close firefox

open up a terminal and type

sudo apt-get remove ubufox

hit enter and input ur password as usual don't worry while inputting ur
password nothing will show up just type ur password as usual and hit
enter. Now restart firefox..
