"Participate or Community or any www.ubuntu.com will not be translated" : do you mean there won't be any www.ubuntu.com/fr/ for example? is it confirmed by Canonical ?
There is a way to fix it:
As English resources are useless for non-English speakers, what about Ubuntu-start-page using LoCo website links when they exist ? (and English links by default when the localized link does not exist)
Thank for your answer.

For example: www.ubuntu- fr.org/ contribuer- ubuntu- fr www.ubuntu- fr.org/ enventelibre. org/ubuntufr
"Participate" has a French equivalent : http://
"Community" has a French equivalent : http://
"Shop" has a French equivalent : http://
For example, if www.ubuntu-es.org/ does not have Spanish shop, we would leave the English link.
What do you think about this idea?
