This has expired for being marked incomplete, but it should not: the team now knows what caused the error (the absence of the esm-hook) and implemented a fix for this.

Installing the Kinetic package on a Jammy machine is just a mistake and cannot be solved, but this particular behavior is fixed with the patch which landed.
