The bug hits me from time to time, too. Right now it shows up, again:

W: Failed to fetch http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/trusty-updates/main/i18n/Translation-en Hash Sum mismatch

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
