Here is what causes the error:

Preparing to replace alsa-base 1.0.11-5ubuntu1 (using .../alsa-base_1.0.13-3ubuntu1_all.deb) ...
sg-2ubuntu1_i386.deb) ...
rm: cannot remove `/etc/alsa/dev.d/alsa-base': Not a directory
dpkg: error processing /media/cdrom1//pool/main/a/alsa-driver/alsa-base_1.0.13-3ubuntu1_all.deb (--unpack):
 subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1

I reassign to alsa-base
