What can I do to get this upgrade to work. Edgy is somewhat flaky, now.

There are 352 updates listed in update-manager and the upgrade button for Feisty is gone. I don't know if I should DL these updates. Edgy was up to date before attempting the upgrade.

What about just updating the ALSA files? Would that correct the above problem?
