Hi,

1. I followed the instructions on this page:

2. I quit Adept Manager, and restarted it as follows:

sudo adept_manager

3. After restarting, I clicked 'Fetch Updates'. The console showed the following messages:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
kdeinit: Can't connect to the X Server.
kdeinit: Might not terminate at end of session.
Link points to "/tmp/kde-root"

I was under the impression that I would be presented with an upgrade tool. However, no such tool appeared.
